Back on the road, so I have my faithful source of all that is liberal - the USA Al-Jareera Today – to review each morning. Do I know how to spoil a breakfast, or what?
1. On the front page is the obligatory picture of a crying woman holding a child outside a bombed out building. The story is about the new conflict in the world between Georgia and Russia over some province of Georgia.
Now the province seems to want to be Russian. Georgia wants them to stay part of Georgia.
Solution: Let them be Russian. We are talking 70,000 people, most of whom want to be Russian. Georgia is a friend to the United States, but sometimes friends make mistakes. I side with Russia on this one. So far.
2. On page 3A, the liberalism just is over the top. Former Chillicothe, OH law director Ed Bunstine is on trial today for tampering with evidenced and obstructing justice. Absolutely no mention of what political party Bunstine belongs to.
You know if he was a Republican that is how the sentence would have started.
3. There is a picture of a liberal couple in Watkinsville, Georgia (what is with all the troublemakers in Georgia all of a sudden?) getting props from the USA Al-Jareera Today for beating back capitalism.
Five states are vying for a bio-tech lab in their state and these two don’t want it in their town. Health and safety concerns, don’t you know.
So they are putting the brakes on 350 jobs, 350 home sales, 350 property tax collections and not to mention all the spending 350 families do in their home town. The USA Al-Jareera Today is a proud of them as they can be.
I got news for the United States citizens. China has 300 bio-tech firms, all working around the clock – and without a single environmental, animal rights or regulatory restriction. Most of their college grads are men have engineering and science degrees – not women with liberal arts, journalism, social science or law degrees, like we have.
Oh, and their graduating high school students can read and find the United States on a map, unlike some of ours in Detroit.
Keep shutting down commerce and science technology in your own country USA Al-Jareera Today. It’s noble work you are doing. For those of you in Ann Arbor, MI – that was sarcasm.
4. On page 9A, the headline screams, “Iraq wants ‘clear timeline’ for U.S. pullout”. Well we want a clear timeline as to when you can keep terrorists out of your country. You will not like it if we have to come back in.
The USA Al-Jareera Today made the headline sound like Iraq was ordering us out, when the real story is that discussions are taking place to set up goals for withdraw. That is a good thing.
Why do these liberal traitors at the USA Al-Jareea Times have to always write everything so negative?
You know why. Negative is the natural born mental state of a liberal. – Hank Dagny

July 22nd, 2008 — Environmentalists, Democrats, Capitalism
Rush Limbaugh brings us news from the Environmental Global Warming Hoax Group - better known as Communists and Democrats for a Collapsed US Economy:
“Al Gore’s home used 10% more energy this year than last year – even after Gore promised to make his own home ‘greener’. Reports say his home used enough energy to run 240 average American homes for a month!
Mike Tidwell said, “What do we tell our children when they sing ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame’ during the Exxon-Mobil 7th inning stretch and they see Exxon-Mobil all over the biggest scoreboard in the country?” Hey Tidwell, you tell your kids to thank God for companies like Exxon-Mobil, you dufus – that take risks and turn crude oil into products that fuel our economy.
A report from our Energy Department says that the demand world-wide for fossil fuels will continue to rise dramatically for the next 20 years – in spite of anything this nation does. Despite any increased use of other resources, oil will simply be needed by the world.
Meanwhile, the UN issued a report saying that food prices and hunger world-wide will remain high as food source get tapped for energy – killing and starving millions. He is demanding increased production of food worldwide.
Wait a minute. If increased production of food will solve the food shortages and bring the price of food down, wouldn’t the same work for oil production?
Or we can use the same plan the Democrats and Obama have proposed to solve the problem. Let’s tax the food producers who are profiting from food production. Let’s regulate and prosecute the food speculators. Tell the parents of hungry children to use alternative foods.
Tell the people to ‘conserve their food. Eat a little less everyday.”
Liberals trip themselves up over their hypocrisies if you only let them speak long enough. Not that the liberal notices it. After all, he is a liberal and his logic section in his brain doesn’t work. That is what makes him a liberal in the first place. – Hank Dagny
June 30th, 2008 — Editorial Responses, Democrats, Constitution, Capitalism, Liberals
Sorry my posts have been behind. I am too busy with family and work on a political campaign. No time even for golf right now – and that hurts!
Having an e-mail discussion with a gentleman who claims to be a peacenik. Of course he is a closet communist and doesn’t know it. He also hates his country, but won’t admit it. He also is worried about himself and wants the government to take care of his every need. But as a liberal, he covers it by saying he is concerned for the ‘poor’.
Here is our last exchange. Sorry for the length, but explaining common sense stuff like ‘it’s someone else’s property’ - takes time with a liberal. The man is in [ brackets ].
[ The Republican answer to everything is lower taxes and deregulation. ]
And they were right. But they no longer are the party of lower taxes and smaller government.
You are the perfect example of a ‘government lover’ – with the philosophy, if it works, tax it, if it moves, regulate it, if it fails, subsidize it.
One problem – none of it is Constitutional. NONE
[ Deregulation is what allowed Enron to quickly build a obscene fortune at the expense of the consumer, mostly in California. ]
Not true, but even if it was, so what? Define obscene. Define ‘the expense of the consumer.’ The consumer got something for their money. They don’t have to buy.
[ Then is made it easy for top executives to gut the company after artificially inflating the value of the stock, and to sell their stock just before the it all came crashing down. Everyone involved lost big time except for a small group of top executive. Top executive can run run a company into the ground and walk away with a fortune while everyone else loses their shirt no matter how hard they worked. ]
We have laws against that already. That is called ‘fraud’ and ‘inside trading.’ And who pardoned those people? Your government – the one you want to turn everything over to.
As far as people ‘losing their shirt’ – so what? Buyer beware and don’t depend on any company, person or government. Take care of yourself. You will be all you got someday - especially if the govenrment runs everything.
[ Top executives of publicly owned company can give themselves bonuses and raises, no matter what kind of job they are doing, while the other workers and stock holder can’t do a thing to stop them. ]
No they can’t. Board of Directors give raises. If you don’t like what they are doing, sell your stock or shut up. It is none of your business unless you are a stockholder. Where is the problem here – unless it is envy and jealousy.
[ The president and CEO of Exon Mobile has a base pay of 37 million a year while about one third of the workers in this country can’t get a job for much more than minimum wage, which barely feeds a person, let alone pays the rent, clothes them and god forbid if they get sick. It costs them almost half a weeks pay just for a tank of gas. You mean to tell me they don’t have a right to make a decent living if they are willing to work for it. ]
That is exactly what I am telling you. Find me the ‘right to make a decent living’ in the Constitution? Where is it? It is not there.
‘Minimum wage is for entry level jobs. Don’t hand me that liberal garbage. It is up to you to get the skills people are willing to pay you for.
[ You may think that this is the greatest country in the world and to tell you the truth, I once believed it was too. But the American dream is gone for most people and many of the ones who are still doing well don’t realize it and won’t until it hits closer to home. Open your eyes. I know of several people with college degrees who can’t get a job or are working for ten dollars a hour or less. ]
My guess their college degrees are in ‘liberal arts’ or some other lame curriculum. I will also bet you they are not trying very hard or will not go to WHERE THE JOB IS! Maybe their degree is in a $10 an hour position.
You know if people were not taxed at 50% of their take home (all taxes combined on ‘poor people’, their $10 an hour would go further.)
People from all over the world still flock here because the American Dream is still here – in spite of liberals trying to kill it. Americans like you don’t believe it because you still have to earn the American Dream.
You seem to want it handed to you by those doing better than you. That is called ‘wealth re-distribution’ – or communism.
People wanting to come here legally, are just looking for the chance to earn it.
[ And the more people who loss their health care, the cost of health care goes up proportionately. And you mean to tell me that nothing can be done about this. I take it that you are not hurting for anything, so there isn’t a problem. And if government moves to help these people or even give them a fair shake, you have the nerve to call it communism or socialism. ]
Once again, there is no ‘right to healthcare’. We have a Constitution. Try reading it.
Second, show me the people dying in the streets outside of hospitals? Third, it is our open border government that is stressing our current healthcare system and driving costs up. Fourth, anytime government runs anything, prices go up and services go down.
EVERY TIME. And yes, I call it communism, because it is.
[ What could make a person so uncaring and selfish? I would really like to know how conservatives, many who claim to be Evangelical Christians, can forget the main teachings of the Bible, particularly, the new testament. ]
BINGO! Now you got it! Just for your information, the charity donations by conservatives drown the donations by liberals.
Second, charity belongs in the churches, not the government. If a person falls on hard times, people – not government – will help them. Especially if the government has not already taken over half their property as they do now – and people like you call for more.
IF the person is lazy or put himself or herself in the mess, the church will only help as long as the person is actually trying to improve.
Your system hands out our money to criminals and lazy people in far greater cases than actual hard luck cases. That is why it is so expensive. People are taking advantage of the taxpayers.
Every person in this country has rights – including the ‘rich’ ones. They have a Constitutional right to their property. You don’t have a right to it, no matter how jealous, envious or mad you are someone is doing better than you, or how scared you are you can’t take care of yourself. - Hank Dagny

The leftist and Marxists that have taken over the Democrat Party - want to punish this country. If you doubt me, then who is the Party that prevents us from being energy independent from the nations that hate us?
Who is the Party that tells us our nation is in a state of decline, and we need to scale down our lives, our standard of living and our expectations for the future – because it is not fair that our nation be that much better than everyone else.
It is the liberal left and the Democrat Party.
They say they hate our standard of living because they are afraid of the effects on the environment. Really? How many oil wells are currently working in the oceans and on land – and hit by natural storms and earthquakes – and managed to damage the ‘environment?
The true agenda of the Left is Marxism and the overthrow of our capitalist system and nothing more.
We have been taught as a nation to hate:
Big Oil
Big Pharmaceutical
Big Automobile
Big Retail
Big Insurance
Big Tobacco
Everything big EXCEPT government! The only place we are allowed to trust and love – the place we go to get even or to fix everything that goes wrong in our lives – is the government.
The 545 elected dolts that run the government and the hundreds of thousands of incompetent liberal government bureaucrats are where we are supposed to put our faith - instead of ourselves.
Now name one government run program or organization that does what it is supposed to do to most people’s satisfaction.
You can’t. So why do Democrats push government as the solution for everything when they fail at everything?
Power – that is the only reason. – Rush Limbaugh and Hank Dagny

Congress - who IS responsible for our dependence on foreign oil - yelled at the oil executives of the five biggest US oil companies.
In addition to condemning hte oil executive’s salaries (I would have responded about Congress salaries and perks for a 120 day a year job), Maxine Waters - Democrat, blurts out that “this liberal is about socializing your companies.” {Hat tip to Hot Air}
Folks, I have said for over a decade now that the Democrat Party is now the home of the Communist Party. Of this, there is no doubt.
And as an added bonus, we have another Democrat admitting that prior to the 2006 election, the Democrats knew they would not and could not stop the War in Iraq, but had to ‘imply’ they would, in order to win. Hat tip to Liberty Pundit.

Congress has a method of operation. They cause a huge problem and then call in the only people who can fix it - in order to blame them and threaten restrictions to make the problem worse.
Congress did yet another dog and pony show that was a complete waste of time. They brought the five Big Oil companies up before them to demand bribe money…oops, I meant extortion money…oops, I meant to explain their record profits.
If any of those CEO’s had any guts, they would say, “It’s because global demand has gone up and the United States government has restricted our ability to find, dill and refine more. We don’t have to spend a dime on research and development because you won’t let us. Just like you, we are able to get more money from the American people – even though we do less and less. And for this we say, thank you!”
Rush Limbaugh had this rant:
“I’ve about had it with people who say, “We need to put solar panels on the roof. We all need to be driving the light rail. We all need to be in mass transit. We need to alter the way we drive and the way we travel around.”
What happens if all the airlines just get put out of business? I’ll guarantee you what will happen. We’ll have a national airline like Amtrak. That’s what will happen, in the interests of “making sure that mode of transportation survives,” the government will come along and subsidize some airline, it will be run by them, and it’s going to be a mess.
There’s not a shortage, despite what anybody tells you, there isn’t a shortage. Can I give you an example?
The United Arab Emirates airlines or some such thing just bought 30 or 40 giant jumbo jets over the next 30 or 40 years. If you look at people planning their businesses and making these purchases of major equipment that is a major user of fossil fuel, people are buying. They’re upgrading.
If there wasn’t going to be any fossil fuel 30 nor 40 years from now, do you think people would be buying these airplanes? Do you think manufacturers would be designing new ones?
So all of the real-life indications are that there’s plenty of energy out there, and the bet is of the people in this business, it’s going to be plentiful, and it’s going to be affordably priced — all things being equal and relative — otherwise these kind of expansions wouldn’t be taking place.
If you look at real-life circumstances, you see that people whose job it is to factor years in the future are making bets on the positive side — while the Drive-By Media is telling everybody how worse it’s going to get, how rotten it is, how terrible it is.
And, of course, it’s Bush’s fault, or Cheney’s fault, or the war in Iraq’s fault, or what have you, and trying to turn it into a political issue. Or it’s the speculators’ fault. It’s somebody’s fault.
There are people that want you to suffer. There are people that want you to be challenged. There are people that want you to be mad about this, and there are people that want you blaming people and companies, industries, for this, ’cause they will benefit.
Nine out of ten times these are the same people who also try to convince you that they stand for you — “The Little Guy,” the average American — that you can count on them to make sure this kind of stuff doesn’t happen to you, and when it does, they’re the ones in private going, “We got ‘em right where we want ‘em!”
Those people are Democrats. What is bad for the country and bad for the citizens is good for them. – Hank Dagny
May 1st, 2008 — Government, Saving Our Nation, Democrats, Current Affairs, Capitalism, Liberals
The Democrats are the problem. So what else is new?
They are not responsible for the increased world demand - quite the contrary. If Democrats ruled every nation, communism would ground progress to a halt – eliminating the need for more oil. Millions would die, but gas would be cheaper.
But they are responsible for stopping a greater supply of oil from reaching the market. They are the only reason the United States is not energy independent today.
The liberals want to know why the government – under George Bush’s presidency – has not done more to produce bio-fuels and other sources of energy to take our dependence away from foreign oil.
First of all, there is no viable alternative at this time.
Second of all, the Democrats ran fro Congress in 2006 on a platform of having a plan to lower gas prices. Prices have doubled since they took office.
Third, Democrats in Congress have blocked every attempt to find new sources of domestic oil, drill for that oil or build the refineries needed to turn the oil into gasoline and other fuels.
Forth, without cheap, dependable energy resources – the United States will always be at the mercy of other countries.
Fifth, Democrats have – when it was not political suicide – said they want high gas prices thru higher taxes in order to force Americans to not use so much.
Sixth, conservation of energy by US citizens will not stop global demand and hence, will not lower prices.
Seventh, without cheap, dependable energy resources – the United States economy will be affected in every single market.
Eighth, Democrats refuse to lower taxes on gasoline to give Americans relief. Some Democrats are willing to look at a temporary ‘gas tax holiday’, but want the oil companies to pay for it. The government never tries to do with less – like they expect us citizens to do.
Democrats are either ignorant beyond belief or truly evil. I believe both. Companies do not pay taxes. Citizens do. If Democrats tax the oil companies, the oil companies will simply add that cost to the price. The end result is the same price.
Chuck Schumer, the Democrat Senator idiot from New York, said this, “ANWAR wouldn’t produce a drop of oil in ten years, and in twenty years it would reduce the price one penny.
We have been pushing for a long time for energy efficiency. We believe in a price gouging bill. We believe there is too much speculation in the markets and we believe that ought to be reined in.”
Nothing Schumer just said would produce one drop of new oil for our nation. Conservation, as I just told you, will not lower prices, will not stop global demand and will not grow our nation’s economy.
Bill Clinton signed the bill stopping drilling in ANWAR in 1994. We would have been using that oil for four years now. Secondly, I don’t believe it would take oil professionals ten years to get the product to market. My guess would be two to five years, maximum. Third, Alaska wants the jobs and the revenue. Fourth, this nation needs the oil.
Schumer wants to go after the very people who produced the product our nation desperately needs. In other words, he wants to nationalize oil like Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. The man is a communist. Want more proof?
Schumer wants to ‘rein in’ the speculation market? What does that mean? Does he want to control oil futures trading and the stock market of those commodities and the stocks of the oil producing companies?
Even if he was in control of US based companies, how does that stop OPEC?
My fellow Americans, the Democrats are not only ignorant fools, but they are power hungry communists that are breaking the economy of this country. The proof is there – and if you vote Democrat – you are an enemy of freedom and this nation. Pure and simple. – Hank Dagny
April 17th, 2008 — Current Affairs, Capitalism, Liberals
I’m not calling the situation a crisis like the MSPAM has to hurt a sitting president.
Headlines in the USA Al-Jazeera Today:
“Bargain hunters boost home sales in some markets – For first-times, risk takers and others, a ripe time to buy”
Duh! This is not news. A part of any market is when prices go up it is good for the seller and bad for the buyer - and vice-versa. The panic driven MSPAM and ignorant liberals see a crisis in both instances.
‘Prices are high! People can’t afford this! Price gouging! We need the government involved!’
OR
‘Prices are falling! People are losing their nest egg! There are no jobs! We need the government involved!’
Liberals are consistent. They want government involved. As helpless, weak people – in constant need of a nanny – this is their shriek cry when the nipple falls from their mouths.
Liberalism is truly pathetic and not the spirit or attitude that built this nation. – Hank Dagny
April 9th, 2008 — Capitalism
John Edwards and the rest of the Democrats are a bunch of snake oil salesman, peddling despair and gloom of a rigged game where only they – if you give them supreme power in government – can make things fair.
It’s a lie. The only thing Democrats (communists) are able to do is bring everyone down to the same level of misery, poverty and slavery. Check the history books. I’m begging you!
We are poorer due to our government over taxing us, spending us into debt and printing money to get out of it. If only we citizens could do that to pay our ever increasing tax burden.
Even though 96% of the people are paying their mortgages, we think it is a crisis. Thank the liberal media and the liberals for pushing for government fixes, folks. Most of the losses were taken by rich speculators and entrepreneurs trying to ‘flip’ houses for a quick profit like they learned on an infomercial.
But now our Congress is going to let the taxpayer pay for it. This is a communist Democrat Congress with a socialist president at the helm.
Still, we have the most prosperous country in the history of the world today. It takes a long time to kill capitalism – although our Congress works 120 days a year to do just that.
Yes, even today. Even with a normal cyclical downturn, our nation still move forward at a faster clip than at any time in the history of the world. Look at these facts (hat tip to Rush Limbaugh):
It took 71 years for the telephone to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 52 years for electricity to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 28 years for radios to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 19 years for personal computers to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 18 years for color television to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 15 years for cable television to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 14 years for cell phones to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 12 years for the VCR’s to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 11 years for CD players to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 10 years for internet access to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 5 years for DVD players to reach 50% of American homes.
It took 4 years for the I-Pods to reach 50% of American homes.
I saw a woman living in a government housing project slum in New Orleans – with a big screen HD TV next to her easy chair and she had a cell phone at her ear. And she weighed 250 pounds if she weighed an ounce. That is poverty in the United States.
I’ve seen real poverty in Mexico and China. It doesn’t look like this. – Hank Dagny
