Sorry my posts have been behind. I am too busy with family and work on a political campaign. No time even for golf right now – and that hurts!

Having an e-mail discussion with a gentleman who claims to be a peacenik. Of course he is a closet communist and doesn’t know it. He also hates his country, but won’t admit it. He also is worried about himself and wants the government to take care of his every need. But as a liberal, he covers it by saying he is concerned for the ‘poor’.

Here is our last exchange. Sorry for the length, but explaining common sense stuff like ‘it’s someone else’s property’ - takes time with a liberal. The man is in [ brackets ].

And they were right. But they no longer are the party of lower taxes and smaller government.
You are the perfect example of a ‘government lover’ – with the philosophy, if it works, tax it, if it moves, regulate it, if it fails, subsidize it.

One problem – none of it is Constitutional. NONE

[ Deregulation is what allowed Enron to quickly build a obscene fortune at the expense of the consumer, mostly in California. ]

Not true, but even if it was, so what? Define obscene. Define ‘the expense of the consumer.’ The consumer got something for their money. They don’t have to buy.

[ Then is made it easy for top executives to gut the company after artificially inflating the value of the stock, and to sell their stock just before the it all came crashing down. Everyone involved lost big time except for a small group of top executive. Top executive can run run a company into the ground and walk away with a fortune while everyone else loses their shirt no matter how hard they worked. ]

We have laws against that already. That is called ‘fraud’ and ‘inside trading.’ And who pardoned those people? Your government – the one you want to turn everything over to.

As far as people ‘losing their shirt’ – so what? Buyer beware and don’t depend on any company, person or government. Take care of yourself. You will be all you got someday - especially if the govenrment runs everything.

[ Top executives of publicly owned company can give themselves bonuses and raises, no matter what kind of job they are doing, while the other workers and stock holder can’t do a thing to stop them. ]

No they can’t. Board of Directors give raises. If you don’t like what they are doing, sell your stock or shut up. It is none of your business unless you are a stockholder. Where is the problem here – unless it is envy and jealousy.

[ The president and CEO of Exon Mobile has a base pay of 37 million a year while about one third of the workers in this country can’t get a job for much more than minimum wage, which barely feeds a person, let alone pays the rent, clothes them and god forbid if they get sick. It costs them almost half a weeks pay just for a tank of gas. You mean to tell me they don’t have a right to make a decent living if they are willing to work for it. ]

That is exactly what I am telling you. Find me the ‘right to make a decent living’ in the Constitution? Where is it? It is not there.
‘Minimum wage is for entry level jobs. Don’t hand me that liberal garbage. It is up to you to get the skills people are willing to pay you for.

[ You may think that this is the greatest country in the world and to tell you the truth, I once believed it was too. But the American dream is gone for most people and many of the ones who are still doing well don’t realize it and won’t until it hits closer to home. Open your eyes. I know of several people with college degrees who can’t get a job or are working for ten dollars a hour or less. ]

My guess their college degrees are in ‘liberal arts’ or some other lame curriculum. I will also bet you they are not trying very hard or will not go to WHERE THE JOB IS! Maybe their degree is in a $10 an hour position.
You know if people were not taxed at 50% of their take home (all taxes combined on ‘poor people’, their $10 an hour would go further.)

People from all over the world still flock here because the American Dream is still here – in spite of liberals trying to kill it. Americans like you don’t believe it because you still have to earn the American Dream.

You seem to want it handed to you by those doing better than you. That is called ‘wealth re-distribution’ – or communism.
People wanting to come here legally, are just looking for the chance to earn it.

I take it that you are not hurting for anything, so there isn’t a problem. And if government moves to help these people or even give them a fair shake, you have the nerve to call it communism or socialism. ]

Once again, there is no ‘right to healthcare’. We have a Constitution. Try reading it.

Second, show me the people dying in the streets outside of hospitals? Third, it is our open border government that is stressing our current healthcare system and driving costs up. Fourth, anytime government runs anything, prices go up and services go down.

EVERY TIME. And yes, I call it communism, because it is.

BINGO! Now you got it! Just for your information, the charity donations by conservatives drown the donations by liberals.
Second, charity belongs in the churches, not the government. If a person falls on hard times, people – not government – will help them. Especially if the government has not already taken over half their property as they do now – and people like you call for more.

IF the person is lazy or put himself or herself in the mess, the church will only help as long as the person is actually trying to improve.

Your system hands out our money to criminals and lazy people in far greater cases than actual hard luck cases. That is why it is so expensive. People are taking advantage of the taxpayers.

Every person in this country has rights – including the ‘rich’ ones. They have a Constitutional right to their property. You don’t have a right to it, no matter how jealous, envious or mad you are someone is doing better than you, or how scared you are you can’t take care of yourself. - Hank Dagny

Millions of Americans are alarmed by the prospect of our current climate crisis turning in to a full-blown climate catastrophe, and support the idea of a massive Green New Deal to conserve energy, make the transition to clean renewable energy, create millions of “green collar” jobs, and drastically reduce climate-destabilizing greenhouse pollution so as to stay below the dangerous tipping point of 350 parts per million (ppm) of atmospheric CO2.

QUESTION 2A Do you support legislation that would drastically reduce global greenhouse gas emissions, convert the U.S. economy to clean energy, and implement major energy conservation measures? Would you support an immediate freeze on climate pollution, a 10% reduction in U.S. greenhouse gases within three years, a 30% reduction by 2020, and a 90% reduction by 2050, coupled with a requirement that 50% of all industrial, farm, and home energy be generated from renewable sources by 2040? On the local and state level, do you support measures like those outlined by the Pew Center on Global Climate Change, the Center for Climate Strategies, Cool Cities, and Mayors for Climate Protection?

2A. First of all, millions of Americans are not concerned about a climate crisis – just communists, useful idiots and the children you brainwashed.

The answer to both questions is No. In the last ten years, the temperature of the Earth has DROPPED a tenth of a degree. We have been recording temperatures as living beings on this planet for about 100 years. With this microscopic amount of data compared to the millions and millions of years this planet has been here, you want us to believe that you know we are responsible for the Earth’s temperature?

And because of that, you want government to micromanage every industry and every life on the globe?

QUESTION 2B Do you support a Tobin Tax, a global carbon tax, and an international air travel tax to finance the transfer of hundreds of billions of dollars of green energy technologies to India, China, Mexico, Nigeria and other major greenhouse gas producing nations? On the local and state level, do you support carbon taxes and emissions fees like those passed in Boulder, Colorado and San Francisco, California, respectively?

2B. No. More proof the environmental movement is the home of the US Communist Party.

QUESTION 2C. The federal government currently spends at least $10 billion per year in subsidies for fossil fuels. States and localities also subsidize energy production. For example, Texas state and local energy subsidies totaled $1.4 billion in 2006, with 99.6 percent of the money supporting oil and gas production. Do you support the transfer of federal, state and local subsidies from fossil fuels to clean energy sources?

2C. No. I support the elimination of almost all federal government subsidies. Some may be constitutional and might be necessary. But as a rule, the federal government has no business giving tax money or tax discounts to certain companies or individuals.

QUESTION 2D Do you support the conversion of 20% of U.S. farmland to energy-efficient and carbon-sequestering organic farming by 2020 and 50% by 2040, with at least 5-10% of the USDA’s annual $90 billion budget immediately being targeted to rebuild local food systems and help farmers make the transition to organic? On the local and state level, do you support tax breaks for farmers making the conversion to organic, as Woodbury County, Iowa has done, “Farm to Cafeteria” legislation, like Washington state’s, and other local and state-based efforts to provide technical assistance and subsidies to farmers and ranchers making the transition to organic agriculture?

2D. No. Wealth re-distribution is your agenda and nothing more.

QUESTION 2E Would you support a ban on unsustainable logging on U.S. public lands and in tropical rainforests, and a restoration of carbon sequestering wetlands and forests?

2E. No. Unmanaged forests create massive forest fires.

QUESTION 2F Do you support local, state and federal laws requiring cars to get at least 50 miles to the gallon by 2020 and a moratorium on all new coal and nuclear plants in your state?

2F. No. By the way, if you know we can make a car to get 50 miles to the gallon, we don’t need a law. Instead of writing stupid surveys or laws, go make the car yourself and get rich. Oh, so you don’t have a clue of what you are talking about. Thougth so.

QUESTION 2G Would you support the creation of five million new Green Collar jobs, with a special emphasis on training and providing jobs for inner-city youth and veterans, to retrofit the nations homes and buildings and conserve 20% of our energy use by 2015?

2G. No. Do you have any concept on how jobs are created and why? Jobs are created by companies trying to make a profit. There is no other way to create jobs. None.

The left continues to amaze me with their ignorance and treason.

I get an email with some liberal survey link to the site “Grassroots Netroots Alliance”. Obviously a communist or Al-Qaeda organization, backed by Americans who vote Democrat. Check out this question:

1E: Would you support an immediate 50% reduction of US military spending and a transfer of funds to pressing domestic needs? On the local and state level, do you support Bring the Money Home Now Resolution?

I think they could have been honest and wrote their question with their real agenda. Like this:

1E: Do you support us in surrendering to our enemies we are currently fighting, abandoning all of our allies and basically sitting back and waiting to get attacked on our soil? And since we wish to ignore the Constitution completely, would you support using the money that was being spent for constitutional reasons, and moving it to unconstitutional and communist spending - while allowing states to get involved with constitutionally mandated federal matters that are none of the state’s constitutional issues?

To answer both the question they sent me - and the question they really meant, I would say:

“No, you lousy traitors; and no again, you stinking communists.”

This is your current Democrat Party in action. Learn it, live it, understand it…and fight it - now at the ballot box, or later in a civil war - or enjoy your time in the collective labor camps. - Hank Dagny

IF our MSPAM (main stream press and media) was on the level, if they were honest and above board, if they were interested in truth and the public trust –

Debbie Dingell, the wife of Congressman John Dingell – Democrat, Michigan, was on the Paul W. Smith radio show on Detroit’s AM station WJR. “The great voice of the Great Lakes.” Whatever.

She is on with Nolan Finley, a conservative columnist for the Detroit News. Mr. Smith plays the moderator – or as I describe him – the regulator of what if any truth or intelligent thought makes it out on the airways.

It was about a 5-minute bit squeezed in between the 10 minutes of commercials, which basically came down to Mr. Smith asking these two ‘pundits’who - Anti-free speech, anti-capitalism, open border McCain and Barack KKK Not Proud of and God Damn America Disown Grandma Semi-disown racist church of 20 years Blow up Pentagon Disown Crook Resko Hussein Obama – will pick as their running mates.

Finley guessed Romney and Dingell dodged the question. That is a typical liberal response and no big deal.

What had me screaming at the radio was Dingell’s prior comments that I will para-phrase as: “It’s a shame that the media made these campaigns about race, gender and age instead of issues.”

Mr. Smith quickly agreed, and then Dingell added – again paraphrased – “But you know this was an historic event as the first black and first woman were serious candidates for President in the history of the country.”

Again, agreement all around.

This has to be on purpose folks. This woman just contradicted herself from one sentence to the VERY next and everyone ignores it??????

Besides, it is and was the Democrat Party and the Democrat candidates themselves that tout race, sex and brought up McCain’s age. Hypocrisy right there for the crushing and these two creampuffs – Smith and Finley – let it roll on by. Pathetic.

I know Smith – who has substituted for Rush Limbaugh on occasion – has to play patty-cake with liberals to keep his job. I already know he is a sell out. When he speaks to the UAW president Ron Giveworkersthemiddlefinger and Michigan governor Jenny Grandloser, he actually praises these two communists.

But Finley also goes along with the charade of letting liberals off the hook. Does he have to act neutered to so he can keep his little TV show with Dingell, talk to Smith once a week and stay working at the Detroit Snooze newspaper? Apparently.

Every single person in the MSPAM has sold out. It’s just too obvious anymore.

Every single liberal speaking anywhere, anytime can be proven to be and called out as a liar, an idiot, an evidence and truth ignorer or a pure power hungry traitor EVERY SINGLE TIME they speak.

Yet time after time the few conservatives allowed in the MSPAM to offer any challenge to the liberal nonsense, they roll over and simply play dead.

If I can destroy a liberal’s views every single time, why can’t the rest of these people in the MSPAM? The answer is obvious. The fix is in. – Hank Dagny

Recently the California Supreme Court ruled that the state constitution requires recognition of same-sex marriages, overruling a 2000 law approved by more than 60 percent of the state’s residents.

As a member of the Center for Moral Clarity, a national Christian grassroots organization, we are outraged by this wildly overreaching decision. Voters of all faith backgrounds, and even those of no religious persuasion, have long respected the biblical model of marriage, the union of one man and one woman.

My questions for you are simple: Do you support the definition of marriage as the union of one man and one woman, or would you support granting marriage rights to same-sex couples?

Dear Center for Moral Clarity,

I know the definition of marriage as described by God is the holy union between one man and one woman – period!

I am against a Constitutional Amendment or bill changing that definition in any way, shape or form.

However, since it is the states that grant marriage licenses, it is a state issue. My opinion on any federal legislation will depend on the Constitutionality of the legislation, as well as the actual definition spelled out.

I would not be opposed to any type of civil contracts between any two consenting adults. That is none of my business.

The Reverend Jeremiah Wright gave a speech at the National Press Club. Here is part of that exchange with that group:

“We are a nation forever damned by a history of slavery, deserving of terrorist attacks because we have done terrorism the world over.

We are a nation that continues to oppress minorities and neglect the health and welfare of the poor and the weak, while fighting unjust wars sparked by lies.”

How many in the Democrat Party (and liberals blogging or meeting to drink in Ann Arbor, MI.), actually disagree with him? Try very few.

Barack Hussein Obama finally “disowns’ the Reverend Wright’s comments, when it became a political necessity. Meanwhile, Barack’s wife Michelle, continues to mimic Wright’s opinion.

The point here is Barack Hussein Obama’s back-pedaling is something most liberals are cringing at. But, as good liberals, they know liberalism’s pure opinions and ideals must be hidden in order to win elections. Obama’s lying, like Clinton’s before him – will be ignored for the sake of liberalism.

Reverend Wright and the rest of the America hating left ignore the fact that our nation was founded by people overthrowing the tyranny of a monarchy, in order to insure the rights of citizens. These rights are bestowed by God and not granted by any human ruler.

And this nation Reverend Wright says can never be washed of the sin of slavery, fought its own Civil War to end slavery within our borders.

Since our founding as a nation, we as a nation have sacrificed the lives of our citizens so that others around the world could be free from Nazis, Communists and now Islamic-fascism.

No other nation in the history of the world has spent more, in money and in human life, in order for other people to have a chance to live in peace.

We are the greatest nation the world has ever seen. If you want the only hope for the world to be snuffed out, then vote Democrat.

Michigan’s “Senate passes ban on smoking“.

I leave the state for 2 minutes and it goes to heck in a hand basket!

“I can now say Michigan will be a smoke-free state,” said a jubilant Sen. Ray Basham, D-Taylor, following the state Senate’s surprise vote Thursday to enact a widespread smoking ban.

“This is a huge victory for the people of Michigan who don’t want to be subjected to second-hand smoke, which the U.S. surgeon general has said is unsafe in any amount,” added Basham, who has been waging an often lonely 10-year crusade against public smoking.

Charlie Cain, who wrote this, can’t be too much of a liberal suck up, can he? Lonely crusade?

Why don’t Basham work on ways to get freedoms and tax dollars back to Michigan citizens instead of wasting 10 years working on restricting citizen’s rights.

As Sen. Alan Sanborn, R-Richmond, who voted against the legislation said, “I love my country, but, God, some days I fear my government.”

I hear you Al.

You idiot do-gooders keep in mind that when the state comes to ban your activities and freedoms for the ‘high priority on the health of our citizens’, don’t come crying to the rest of us.

If you don’t stand up for people’s rights - even on things you don’t agree with - then don’t expect any help when they come after you.

In this brave new liberal world of Socialist Medicine, the STATE will dictate what you can and cannot do in your day to day life.

Driving is dangerous and gas pollutes. Everyone on public transportation.

“Liberals stand for liberalism above all else. And when they do, it is people who get hurt. [Ed. Note: Our friend Pam over at Atlas Shrugged forgot this for a minute when she wondered why Jews were voting for Barack KKK God Damn America Koran Hussein Obama. I told her the truth, echoed here by Rush.]

And when liberals stray from the reservation – like Lieberman or Zel Miller, they kick them out. They don’t call them ‘mavericks’ in the drive-by media. They don’t say, ‘this is great! Look at the diversity in our party.’

That is a great illustration. Diversity – a great liberal principle. Well, there isn’t any when it comes down to actual impact on people. They don’t allow any diversity in the Democrat Party. They don’t allow it in speech. [Ed. Note: The Liberty Pundit captures liberals showing their intolerance of ‘free speech’. To be fair, the conservative protest did hit the liberals right in their religious altar - abortion. Nothing sets off a liberal more than trying to prevent babies from being murdered.]

When they enforce their principle, someone is going to get hurt. Someone is going to be guilty. Some organization or person is always going to be “not diverse” enough. [Ed. Note: Think about that for a second in the context of liberals running the entire government. People being ‘rounded up’ for failure to be ‘diverse enough.’]

“Diversity” means nothing! It is a principle based on how something looks – which we are not supposed to judge anyone on the way it looks. [Ed. Note: Yet another direct liberal contradiction – of which there are hundreds]. Because of the way something looks liberals want to change everything – and people get hurt.

Liberalism happens under the umbrella of ‘we care.’ And that is why it is so seductive - especially to ignorant people. And especially people who care that other people care about people.

We all care about people! Except a small minority – and most of those are in jail or heading there. We are the most generous nation in the world. Not only for our own people, but for people around the world.

So conservatives are said to be harsh and can’t possibly care. The liberals have a cool game going. Let me give you an example:

Liberals have as a principle ‘quality education for all’, with more and more money spent every year. May I ask you, what is the state of our current education system? What is the dropout rate – especially among minorities? How many people graduate and cannot read their diplomas? Quality education for all?

But you have to stay in a failing public school system. If you want vouchers – if you want to get your children into private schools - and someone offers that suggestion – look who stands in your way!

Mr. and Mrs. Clinton, Mr. and Mrs. Gore can send their kids to private school. You can’t do it. You have to keep your kids is a failing public school system so the principle of a ‘quality education for everyone’ can be followed.

They talk about a quality education for everyone because ‘liberals care.’ Look at the status of public education. Look at the effect on people – who are ‘subject’ to this principle. And when you confront liberals with this, they say, ‘you can’t examine the results. You have to examine our good intentions. We care.’”

The liberal citizen may care, but the Democrat politician does not care about people. They care about power.

The dumbing down of the US citizenry serves the purposes of feeding the teachers unions who in turn feed the DNC coffers; making more and more Americans dependent on the government; and makes liberal talking points appear to make sense. Only the ignorant think liberalism works.

To liberals, publishing the enemy military secret – even in a time of war (NY Times) is not unpatriotic.

To liberals, picketing injured veterans on their way to the hospital for therapy and treatment is not unpatriotic.

To liberals, blocking military recruitment centers is not unpatriotic (Code Pink).

To liberal presidential candidates, taking corporate profits legally earned or hanging out with bigots and domestic terrorists is not unpatriotic (Hillary and KKK God-Damn America Hussein Obama).

But, according to Andrew L. Yarrow, is visiting history professor at American University, retiring early “is profoundly selfish and unpatriotic.” This piece of elitist, communist dog manure was a Clinton political appointee (go figure), and received fellowships from the European Union, the French Government, the Kennedy and Truman Presidential Libraries. In other words, a total traitor to this nation.

“When I hear my fellow baby boomers gleefully talk about their plans to retire ASAP, head for the Tuscan hills or otherwise continue their lifelong quest for “self-actualization,” I have to bite my tongue.

It’s not that I’m all work and no play. But there’s just something — lots of things — wrong, in general, with retiring at 55, 62 or even 65. I would go so far as to call it profoundly selfish and unpatriotic.

For individuals, working longer can mean more income and savings and something to bequeath to one’s children. For the nation, if millions of us worked until 67 instead of 62, Americans’ wealth and consumption would increase appreciably, fueling stronger economic growth.

That added income would provide about $800 billion in additional tax revenue and reduce government benefit costs by at least $100 billion in 2045, according to Urban Institute calculations. This alone would cut the projected deficit in 2045 by 159 percent.
To encourage such behavior, Social Security benefits taken before age 66 or 70 could be more highly taxed [Ed. Note: This is money the government ALREADY TOOK as a tax, remember], and employee rates of Social Security taxation could be progressively reduced for each year worked after 66 or 70. Or the government could provide a similar sliding tax credit for Americans who continue working beyond age 70.”

This idiot has a job where he sits in his ivory tower and potificates or walks into a classroom to propagandize for communism. This low life doesn’t really ‘work’. So it is easy for him to say, just bust your hump on those cement plant floors or out in the bad weather, until you keel over.

To liberals, you are a cow to be milked for tax dollars until you die. FDR’s Ponzi scheme gets to keep your money and you get nothing. And thanks to the ‘Death Tax”, your children get half of what you ALREADY paid taxes on – if they can afford to do that! You see if your wealth is in property, your children have to repay half its value in taxes to actually get the property.

Even semi-respectable Democrats look sleazy by their association with the Clintons. No serious Democrat defended Clinton over his “presidential kneepads” incident with Monica Lewinsky.

So repellent are Bill Clinton’s friends (to the extent that a sociopathic sex offender with a narcissistic disorder can actually experience friendship in the conventional sense) that B. Hussein Obama’s association with a raving racist reverend and a former member of the Weather Underground hasn’t caused as much damage as it should.

On one hand, Obama pals around with terrorists. On the other hand, Hillary pals around with James Carville. Advantage: Obama.

Asked why he would be friends with the likes of Weatherman Bill Ayers, Obama said: “The notion that … me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values doesn’t make much sense.”

That’s a slick answer — even “Clintonian”! — but the problem is, Ayers and his Weatherman wife, Bernadine Dohrn, won’t stop boasting about their days as Weathermen.

It’s not simply that they haven’t repented. To the contrary, those were their glory days! And Ayers isn’t just someone who lives in the neighborhood: He and Dohrn were there at the inception of Obama’s political career, hosting a fundraiser for Obama at their home back in 1995.

Besides wanton violence, including a dozen bombings of buildings such as the Pentagon, the U.S. Capitol, historic statues and various police stations, the Weathermen’s “revolutionary” activity consisted primarily of using the word “motherf—–” a lot, dropping LSD, coming up with cutesy phrases — like “the Weather Underground” — and competing over who could make the most offensive statements in public. (I also believe Dohrn may have set the North American record for longest stretch without bathing.)

At one rally, Dohrn famously praised the Manson family for murdering Sharon Tate and others, shouting: “Dig it. First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them. They even shoved a fork into a victim’s stomach! Wild!”

In a better country, just saying “Dig it!” in public would get you 20 years in the slammer.

Dohrn has recently tried to clarify her Manson remarks by saying it was some sort of “statement” about violence in society and, furthermore, that she said it while under sniper fire in Bosnia. Also recently, the members of the Manson family have distanced themselves from Ayers and Dohrn.

At other rallies, Dohrn said, “Bring the revolution home, kill your parents — that’s where it’s at.”

After a Chicago Democratic official, Richard Elrod, became paralyzed while fighting with a privileged looter during the Weathermen’s “Days of Rage,” Dohrn led the Weathermen in a song sung to the tune of Bob Dylan’s “Lay Lady Lay”:

Lay in the street for a while
Stay, Elrod, stay
Stay in your bed for a while
You thought you could stop the Weatherman
But up-front people put you on your can,
Stay, Elrod, stay
Stay in your iron lung,
Play, Elrod, play

Only because of a merciful God is the author of that ditty, Ted Gold, not teaching at Northwestern or the University of Illinois now, alongside Dohrn or Ayers. That’s because Gold is no longer with us, having accidentally blown himself up with a bomb intended for a dance at Fort Dix for new recruits and their dates.

While trying to assemble the bomb at an elegant Greenwich Village townhouse that belonged to one of the revolutionaries’ fathers, the bungling Weathermen blew up the entire townhouse, killing Gold and two other butterfingered revolutionaries. Leave it to these nincompoops to turn their glorious Marxist revolution into an “I Love Lucy” sketch.

So in addition to being stupid and violent, the Weathermen were also incompetent terrorists. Would that Timothy McVeigh had been so inept!

If he had only said he bombed the building in Oklahoma City to protest American “imperialism,” McVeigh, too, could be teaching at Northwestern University, sitting on a board with and holding fundraisers for presidential candidate B. Hussein Obama.”
