On the Clinton News Network (CNN) Nancy Pelosi stated that President Bush was a “total failure, losing all credibility with the American people on the economy, on the war, on energy. You name the subject, and we are trying to sweep up after his mess, over and over and over again.”

Pelosi needs to be in an insane asylum, and not in the Senate as Speaker of the House.

The economy is not anymore the fault of Bush than it is the fault of Congress.

Timing would show that the real downturn of the economy started right after the Democrats took control of Congress. But you don’t hear me trumpeting that – since I know the American economy has many issues facing it – and it is not a political party or a person per se.

But then again, I am a rational, analytical, honest person who is not trying to re-infect a bunch of mentally ill liberals with Bush Derangement Syndrome.

The ‘war’ and the ‘energy’ problem is all the fault of the Democrats – and she knows it.

The war would be over now if not for the treasonous behavior of the Democrat Party and their propaganda arm known as the MSPAM (main stream press and media). In the Senate, Democrat Harry Reid proclaimed to the world that “the war was lost.” Talk about aiding and abetting our enemies. Harry wanted the USA home, defeated and humiliated.

After all, he is a Democrat.

Besides, Pelosi should listen to her own presidential candidate. Barack Hussein just announced that ‘the surge has worked better than anyone thought’ – but he still would not have voted for it. Real American there – panning a policy that he just said was successful in defending this country.

So if Pelosi wants to see who the reason American troops are still at risk, she needs to find a mirror.

The energy problem is directly tied to the environmental policies trumpeted by the Democrat Party. Al Gore, the Global Warming Snake Oil Salesman himself stated $5 a gallon gasoline was the goal to force conservation. Barack the Magic Negro said that he wanted $5 a gallon gasoline prices too, “but just not so quickly.”

Truth be told, energy prices greatly affect the American economy. High prices for energy, means a slowed economy. Prices go up and people can’t afford the gas to go to the store in the first place.

Liberals have a mental block of economics. Democrats don’t. They know they are ushering in communism to their mentally challenged voters.

Democrats want Americans to ‘conserve, slow down, back up, don’t consume, don’t live so well, embrace declining standards of living, be happy with less.’

Public education, immigration, Social Security, high taxes, government housing, government loan programs, etc – whatever Democrats touch – fails.

This is an outrage - unless all signs were banned. That is a possibility. That little issue would need to be clarified. Signs posted along the walls or held up in the very back of the room should be fine. But waving and chanting would be a distraction and a riot starter. I doubt this librarian had total kaos in mind, but I would have liked to know if she was trying to violate the rules of the day.

I wonder if my Obama = Hillary = Lenin would be just fine in Denver? I’m guessing no.

I am a constitutionalist / conservative. I am with Libertarians on most issues. What confuses me about them is how they may disagree with Democrats, they seem to have a hatred of Republicans.

They are politically much closer to Republicans in platform than Democrats, but Libertarians seem to save all of their venom for the Republicans.

Republicans are doing wrong. The Democrats are trying to destroy this nation as we know it. I would think the Democrats would get most of the attention from Libertarians, US Taxpayers Party and the Constitution Party. They don’t. The Republicans do.

To liberals, publishing the enemy military secret – even in a time of war (NY Times) is not unpatriotic.

To liberals, picketing injured veterans on their way to the hospital for therapy and treatment is not unpatriotic.

To liberal presidential candidates, taking corporate profits legally earned or hanging out with bigots and domestic terrorists is not unpatriotic (Hillary and KKK God-Damn America Hussein Obama).

But, according to Andrew L. Yarrow, is visiting history professor at American University, retiring early “is profoundly selfish and unpatriotic.” This piece of elitist, communist dog manure was a Clinton political appointee (go figure), and received fellowships from the European Union, the French Government, the Kennedy and Truman Presidential Libraries. In other words, a total traitor to this nation.

Is ‘early’ retirement … well, unpatriotic?

“When I hear my fellow baby boomers gleefully talk about their plans to retire ASAP, head for the Tuscan hills or otherwise continue their lifelong quest for “self-actualization,” I have to bite my tongue.

It’s not that I’m all work and no play. But there’s just something — lots of things — wrong, in general, with retiring at 55, 62 or even 65. I would go so far as to call it profoundly selfish and unpatriotic.

For individuals, working longer can mean more income and savings and something to bequeath to one’s children. For the nation, if millions of us worked until 67 instead of 62, Americans’ wealth and consumption would increase appreciably, fueling stronger economic growth.

That added income would provide about $800 billion in additional tax revenue and reduce government benefit costs by at least $100 billion in 2045, according to Urban Institute calculations. This alone would cut the projected deficit in 2045 by 159 percent.
To encourage such behavior, Social Security benefits taken before age 66 or 70 could be more highly taxed [Ed. Note: This is money the government ALREADY TOOK as a tax, remember], and employee rates of Social Security taxation could be progressively reduced for each year worked after 66 or 70. Or the government could provide a similar sliding tax credit for Americans who continue working beyond age 70.”

This idiot has a job where he sits in his ivory tower and potificates or walks into a classroom to propagandize for communism. This low life doesn’t really ‘work’. So it is easy for him to say, just bust your hump on those cement plant floors or out in the bad weather, until you keel over.

To liberals, you are a cow to be milked for tax dollars until you die. FDR’s Ponzi scheme gets to keep your money and you get nothing. And thanks to the ‘Death Tax”, your children get half of what you ALREADY paid taxes on – if they can afford to do that! You see if your wealth is in property, your children have to repay half its value in taxes to actually get the property.

Franklin Roosevelt, a Democrat, and our first pure socialist president, introduced the Social Security (FICA- Federal Insurance Contributions Act) Program. He promised in this proposal that:

1.) That participation in the Program would be completely voluntary

2.) That the participants would only have to pay 1% of the first $1,400 of their annual
incomes into the Program,

3.) That the money the participants elected to put into the Program would be deductible from their income for tax purposes each year,

4.) That the money the participants put into the independent ‘Trust Fund’ rather than into the General operating fund, and therefore, would only be used to fund the Social Security Retirement Program, and no other Government program, and,

5.) That the annuity payments to the retirees would never be taxed as income

Those that have paid into FICA for years and have reached the ever increasing age limit to collect, are now receiving a Social Security check every month - and then finding that we are getting taxed on 85% of the money we paid to the Federal government to ‘put away’.

So the government takes your money – for your own good – then taxes you on your own money when they give it back to you.
And we put up with that.

To be fair, I don’t hear Republicans taking up the fight to ‘fix’ this mess. Bush 43 gave his usual ‘half effort’ to fix it - as he did towards everything during his presidency – but gave up.

Now why are the citizens unable to rise up and throw out these incumbents who are stealing citizen’s money? Because we have useful idiots and fellow communists like Floyd Johnson of Peoria, AZ. This plan is so communist, the Boston Globe had to print it as brilliant!:

“THERE IS an obvious way to save Social Security and Medicare, if a political leader has the courage to try. Let’s go back to the original intent of Social Security — to provide help to those who need help in their old age.

Here’s an obvious solution:

Currently FICA payroll taxes are collected on the first $87,900 of earnings. Let’s eliminate the ceiling. Let’s make all earned income (no matter how great) subject to the 6.2 percent Social Security tax rate.

This would be consistent with FDR’s original intention — that those who “have,” help those who “have not.” (This change would have no impact on the “working poor” or the lower middle class — their total FICA payroll taxes would remain the same.)
Let’s require a means test for receiving both Social Security and Medicare benefits.

Anyone with a net income after retirement greater than $300,000 annually from any and all sources (including pensions, dividends, and annuities) would not be eligible to receive Social Security and/or Medicare benefits.”

The federal Government Accountability Office (GAO) estimates that our government entitlement programs (which already consume 60% of our budget) are running a long-term shortfall of $45 trillion. That is the difference between what it will take in and what it will shell out in the next 75 years in Social Security, Medicare, and the other entitlement benfits.

This does not include the billions in additions under any plan any Democrat candidate has for…anything.

David Walker, the main guy at the GAO says, “Our government has made a whole lot of promises in the long term that it cannot possibly keep.”

The ranking budget committee member, Republican Senator Jud Gregg said, “The longer we wait to fix this, the harder it will be.”

It is not a question of whether liberalism will bankrupt our nation. It is only a question of when.

The root cause is two fold:

1) Women voting

2) Liberalism

There are entire industries build around pleasing women with a freebie; flowers, candy, jewelry, ladies night at the bar, men buying women drinks every night at the bar, etc. Come on everyone – you know the score.

Why would politicians be any different? They give women things to get their vote. Politicians just get to use your money instead of their own to score with the ladies. Government deficit spending started just after women started voting.

Next the women may want to wear pants and and run for political office. THEN - where will the nation be?

And liberalism – or communism as it is usually called – is based on the premise that if you have more than someone else, you must share. Sounds all wonderful and everything until the biggest liberals learn that the less they do, the more they get - so they do less. Then the other citizens realize the more they work, the less they get to keep – so they do less. That is when the leaders of the liberals FORCE you to work.

There are plenty of bills the taxpayers are given that they don’t want to pay for. Liberals want the government to pay for everything. That is it in a nut shell.

Liberals wanted Campaign Finance Reform, which restricts free speech sixty days before an election. This legislation did nothing but help Hillary and the Democrats – as they already had the systems in place to skirt around the law. Hillary is proving she can skirt around all laws. She has gone back to getting money from communist China.

We cannot trust our tax dollars at work. Social Security stolen. Balance budget amendments ignored. Liberal, I would leave that argument alone. You can’t win it.

Once again this is a subject that has been dealt with many times on this site. We have a Category reserved for it. Or type ‘ponzi scheme’ in the search engine and go down to the article called;

Something liberals cannot do. Social Security was another tax added by FDR and sold as ‘depression free’ retirement funds to a scared citizenship. The real plan was for most of the citizens to die off before they could collect – leaving the money for the government.

Well the – according to the liberals – ‘rotten’ private health service and drug industry has us living longer than socialist FDR could ever imagine. But the joke is not on him - it is on us.

Right now 2.5 people are paying for the care of one in this country. The prediction is that it will be 1:1 within a decade or two (maybe someone with more time can find the precise year in this country when ‘you will be supporting me’ - or ‘me, you’.

Liberals were at the forefront of stopping any repairs to the SS system while a Republican is in office. Meanwhile, the clock ticks on. The liberal solution of higher taxes and less benefits will only speed up the 1:1 timetable.

Social Security is yet another colossal liberal failure that liberals claim as a success. How are they able to mentally delude themselves so completely? Worse yet, how are they able to drag so many citizens along with them? – Hank Dagny

This must be a campaign issue every year! SOCIAL SECURITY:

Perhaps we are asking the wrong questions during election years. Our Senators and Congressmen do not pay into Social Security. Many years ago they voted in their own benefit plan. In more recent years, no congressperson has felt the need to change it. For all practical purposes their plan works like this:

When they retire, they continue to draw the same pay until they die, except it may increase from time to time for cost of living adjustments. For example, former Senators and Congressmen and their wives may expect to draw $7,800,000, with their wives drawing $275,000.00 during the last years of their lives.

This is calculated on an average life span for each. Their cost for this excellent plan is $00.00. These little perks they voted for themselves are free to them. You and I pick up the tab for this plan.

The funds for this fine retirement plan come directly from the General Fund–our tax dollars at work! From our own Social Security Plan, which you and I pay (or have paid) into — every payday until we retire (which amount is matched by our employer) –we can expect to get an average $1,000 per month after retirement.

Social Security could be very good if only one small change were made. And that change would be to jerk the Golden Fleece Retirement Plan from under the Senators and Congressmen. Put them into the Social Security plan with the rest of us and then watch how fast they would fix it.
