I’m just asking. It is scary if it is. I could not believe this call by an American who happens to be black – into the Rush Limbaugh Show on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. I heard it - you got to read it:
RUSH: “Christian in Detroit, Michigan. So we have ascertained here that you think it’s necessary for Barack Obama to run because, as you said, it feels good, it’s about time that there is somebody running for president who looks like you.
CALLER: Yes, sir. I’m not looking for a placebo president. It feels good, though.
RUSH: Okay. So I’m assuming if it’s necessary that Barack runs because he looks like you, then there’s a racial component to this, which I understand. Are you suggesting that until this happens, this country will not have climbed a mountain? In other words, we will not have ended racism?
CALLER: At least a minority aspect of it.
RUSH: Then let me ask you this, if Obama loses the nomination, if Mrs. Clinton, the domineering, abused woman of the ex-president, and let’s say he gets the number of delegates but she steals this at the convention, and you wanted a guy running because you like somebody that looks like you, and the Democrat Party has been the home, the ostensible home for black advancement and emancipation, and if Mrs. Clinton somehow steals this victory from Obama, what will your reaction be?
CALLER: Well, people will just have to do what we’ve done for 232 years –
RUSH: Stick with the Democrats?
CALLER: We’ll last.
RUSH: Here’s the whole point. You’re going to stick with the people who have just taken away from you something that you said that you need to see. By the way, who is it that’s trying to squash the black guy? Who is it that’s trying to cement the black guy with a cement swimsuit and throw him down in Lake Erie?
CALLER: You’re right.
RUSH: It’s the Democrat Party that’s trying to do this.
CALLER: You’re right, you’re right, I agree.
RUSH: Good. See, it didn’t take any hope to answer that question. If Obama wins the nomination — but loses the presidency, what will you think of your country?
CALLER: With no prejudice? In all that I know, all that we know, I would not be upset.
RUSH: Okay. Final question. Obama wins the nomination, wins the presidency. Are we finished with racism in this country? Can we finally say we’ve overcome, it’s behind us, we have dealt with it, it doesn’t exist? Because the people in this country, of which only 13% are black, will have elected a black man president, can we say, Christian, that racism is behind us?
CALLER: No.
RUSH: No?
CALLER: No.
RUSH: Then, Christian, hear me on this, my friend. If Obama wins, and it’s not going to change anything in the racial equation, then this business about it being necessary for him to run because there’s somebody that looks like you is meaningless. It absolutely doesn’t mean a thing.” – end
Rush just carved this liberal to pieces. The liberal, Christian contradicts himself – and thinks he is making sense.
To review, according to this American who happens to be Black, living in the Socialist Republic of Michigan and the People’s Republic of Detroit:
1) He is voting for Barack Hussein Obama because of his race.
2) We will have climbed over one stigma of never having a serious minority candidate for the office of president. But that is all.
3) If the Democrat Party flat out steals the candidacy from an American who happens to be Black and honestly voted in as the candidate for the Democrat Party – the Americans who happen to be Black STILL will not leave the Democrat Party.
4) If Obama loses the general election, this American who happens to be Black won’t blame it on United States racism.
5) And if Barack Hussein Obama wins the presidency (sit down for this one, folks) - Americans who happens to be Black still will not say racism is over in this country.
I got news for any Americans who happen to be Black and who agree with Christian:
1) You are the racists.
2) It’s pure guilt mongering. Obama is only there because of his race. Your entire identity is your “I’m Black so I’m a victim” status and YOU will never let it go. It’s your built in excuse for every failure you produce.
3) You are useful idiots staying on the plantation of the Democrat Party so enjoy your self-imposed chains and destroyed families. Here is the proof that being a ‘victim’ is your entire identity.
4) So even though millions of Americans who happen to be White voted for Obama, Americans who happen to be Black will still claim there is racism for their failures. My point will is proven with the #5 answer.
5) Exactly. Racism is your identity – thanks to your dependence on the teat of the socialist handouts of the Democrat Party. Nothing will ever be enough for the Americans who happen to be Black. I will not give one iota of credence to another whine you Americans who happen to be Black utter. Your credibility is gone. And don’t you dare bring your whining into my space. Just for the record, I feel the same way about ‘Americans who happen to be white supremists.’
Americans who happen to be intelligent, maybe you can tell I have had it with the race baiting – and the feminist idiots for that matter.
As for the ugly history of slavery in this country, two things;
1) It is still happening in the Americans who happen to be Black native Africa.
2) And Americans who happen to be Black should thank God their ancestors were slaves and brought to the greatest nation in the world. Your angst over history is actually the greatest gift you ever got! – Hank Dagny

What would I call him, Cigar? An American. But then again, I call Michael Jordan an American. I call Jesse Jackson an American.

To which I say if you describe yourself - first - as any XXXXX-American, then you are no American.
But to be politically correct in today’s screwed up liberal world, I have to somehow name the person’s color. Why Democrats do this is to first make groups - then pit then against each other for control over every group. Therefore, in order to make sure someone I don’t know keeps his American status, I say it this way:
The person you just described Cigar would simply be, “An American who happens to be White”.
The caller into Rush Limbaugh? He is no American. He is a race -baiting traitor or useful idiot. One or the other.
