The Reverend Jeremiah Wright gave a speech at the National Press Club. Here is part of that exchange with that group:
“We are a nation forever damned by a history of slavery, deserving of terrorist attacks because we have done terrorism the world over.
We are a nation that continues to oppress minorities and neglect the health and welfare of the poor and the weak, while fighting unjust wars sparked by lies.”
How many in the Democrat Party (and liberals blogging or meeting to drink in Ann Arbor, MI.), actually disagree with him? Try very few.
Barack Hussein Obama finally “disowns’ the Reverend Wright’s comments, when it became a political necessity. Meanwhile, Barack’s wife Michelle, continues to mimic Wright’s opinion.
The point here is Barack Hussein Obama’s back-pedaling is something most liberals are cringing at. But, as good liberals, they know liberalism’s pure opinions and ideals must be hidden in order to win elections. Obama’s lying, like Clinton’s before him – will be ignored for the sake of liberalism.
Reverend Wright and the rest of the America hating left ignore the fact that our nation was founded by people overthrowing the tyranny of a monarchy, in order to insure the rights of citizens. These rights are bestowed by God and not granted by any human ruler.
And this nation Reverend Wright says can never be washed of the sin of slavery, fought its own Civil War to end slavery within our borders.
Since our founding as a nation, we as a nation have sacrificed the lives of our citizens so that others around the world could be free from Nazis, Communists and now Islamic-fascism.
No other nation in the history of the world has spent more, in money and in human life, in order for other people to have a chance to live in peace.
We are the greatest nation the world has ever seen. If you want the only hope for the world to be snuffed out, then vote Democrat.
Liberals are nothing but weak, mentally unstable people, and their leaders in the Democrat Party are power-hungry communists – and nothing more. Vote for them at everyone in the world’s peril. – Hank Dagny

“Conservatism ” will fail and did fail us, not simply because of corruption or incompetence, but because of original conception. In truth of the matter— Reagan had many of the same ideas and inflicted similar damages on this country—just look at the economy & how bogged down we are in Iraq.
The media supressed information about Obama because he would never had won as many states. Even republicans—want someone knowledgable to run for office for both repubs & dems if they really care mostly about our country—than anything else. Perhaps, its time to get rid of political parties which create hate and lost any real value.
Janice, how can you look at the United States and the fact we are the lone super power and the richest nation in the world - and say capitalism ‘failed us’?
How can you know about the millions and millions of people that have died under communism, socialism and fascism and say our Constitution and representative republic inflicted damage?
It is the leaving of these basic principles that is causing us the problems.
Janice, please read this blog and start thinking about what really works and what doesn’t.

Conservatives totally destroyed the meaning of “USA” by leaving deficit-encrusted shoes on in our clean house, and enacting socialism for the white elites at the disadvantage of all the other hard working taxpayers, as illustrated perfectly by Bush.Con’s Neo “economic incentive”, which is not a tax rebate, but a loan, with interest and origination fee, that our children must repay, and which grifts will only be sent out to US citizens, and probably only a white subset of those, as apartheid so beautifully enables the lucre of mammon. The tax relief for the richest–failed to help the middle classes who are now disappearing. ( Reagan’s tax relief had to be repealed his second term ) The FEDS lowered interest rates again when the first time–it caused the mortgage-debt crisis. We are bogged down in IRAQ and our own country’s infrastructures are a mess. Something FAILED in the past 7 years and most can’t even brag about making money in the stock markets.
The ‘elites’ can be found in the Democrat Party. They are the party of the rich now. Cherish, you must look at facts and not rely on tired rants from the 60’s.
The out of control government spending is because of the liberal unconstitutional programs put in place by both Democrats and Republicans - which is why I am not a member of either party.
Cherish, you also seem to have ‘race’ issues. We are all Americans and I don’t see skin color. I do notice gender, but I can’t help it - it’s genetic.

Your rhetoric about the ‘middle class’ is simply that. Tax relief helps every American. Winston Churchill said, “A nation trying to tax itself into proserity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to pick himself up by the handle.”
Taxes hurt citizens. They hurt even the poor worse. If the rich do not invest, the poor don’t have jobs. Pure and simple.
The mortgage crisis is 1% of the homes in this country and most of those foreclosures are from investors who got stuck with houses they could not flip. And it is a Democrat Congress bailing out the investment firms.
You have a severe case of Bush Derangement Syndrome. Not that he is not willing to save the investment bankers too. Both parties are guilty of sticking it to us!
Iraq is ‘bogged down’ because of the treason of the Democrat Party and the cowardice of Bush and the Republicans. If you go to war - fight a war. This patty-cake only gets soldiers killed.
USA’s infrastructure is a mess? Based on what? Speak facts. As far as I know, we still have the land of plenty. But if the Democrats get full reign, that will not last. Communism never works Janice. Your current pack of DNC leaders will be just as ruthless as Stalin, given the chance.
